Our Dogs
We believe that our dogs’ health and a puppy’s health is very important. Although health issues are not common in shelties, we test our dogs. In April 2008, the ASSA joined the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) program. The national club for each participating breed, the ASSA, recommends health tests to be performed in dogs used for breeding. The number and types of tests are tailored to the needs of each breed. Dogs that have had the required tests will receive a CHIC number, and the CHIC database can be searched for dogs having CHIC numbers.
This tri-girl shown above has a home and is from Pam Pool at Allusion Shelties (Richmond, TX). Pam has other puppies that will soon be available.

The puppies shown at the left belong to Pam Pool at Allusion Shelties and has a home. However, Pam has a litter of sables that will be ready to go to their new homes around Memorial Day and a litter of blue merles and tris that will be ready to go to their new homes in mid to late June.

5. Microchip (We use ISO 134.2 kHz, 15-digit microchips)
6. 10 day return/refund policy. We want you to be happy with your puppy and our puppies to be in the best possible homes.
7. If, for any reason, you are no longer able to care for the puppy or dog that you purchased from us, we will take it back. Partial refund may apply depending upon the dogs age, condition at the time and how soon we are able to find a suitable home for it.
8. Finally, if you need to leave town for a day or two, we will watch your puppy or dog at no cost (if we are available). We are always happy for our puppies to return for a visit. If you need us to watch the dog for a longer period, we will try to accommodate your request at a very reasonable rate.
9. Note: We do not ship Pet/Companion puppies out of the state of Texas. You must be able to meet us at our home, yours or a suitable alternative. No exceptions will be made. If you are in driving distance of Houston, Texas, we will try to accommodate your needs.
Our Girls
Allusion High Impact “Zoey” is now a 13 year old Blue Merle female that we purchased from Pam Pool at Allusion Shelties. Originally, we purchased Zoey as a pet; however, Zoey showed potential.
Allusion High Impact “Zoey” – Zoey has a great personality and natural ears. She loves to run and has a lot of energy. Zoey took her first points at the Heart of America Kennel Club in Kansas on Saturday, March 18, 2012. Zoey has been retired from our breeding program but is mom and grandma to most of our line.
At Cosme Shelties, our highest priority is to breed healthy dogs. We test the Shelties that we breed and support the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) which is a health database program jointly sponsered by the AKC/Canine Health Foundations and the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). Breed requirements for Shetland Sheepdogs are as listed on the CHIC Shetland Sheepdog web page.

Cosme Jackie O
Cosme Jackie O, Kennedy, was born on August 27, 2014 and is the product of CH Belmark Lo and Behold and our own Allusion High Impact. Kennedy took second place in her very first outing at the Austin Specialties at the age of 6 months 1 day, her first show. Kennedy took first in her class on March 3, 2015 at the Brazos Valley Kennel Club show.
Kennedy won her class on 4-17-15 and 4-18-15 at the Northwest Louisiana Shetland Sheepdog Club Show. In addition, she took “Best Puppy” on 4-18-15. She won her first 4 points on June 24 – June 27 at the Summer Classic Dog Shows in Oklahoma City, OK!
